His heart ached with unbearable loneliness

He knew that his only love was gone like the light of the sun

And he knew that she would never be with him again

She Becomes Her

Her life may be what she dreamed

It may be one she never imagined

She may be a mother or wife

She may have a hard life

Above all though she is a woman

And she knows what only she needs

When the world gets to be too much

She knows how to escape

Maybe for just a moment

Maybe for forever and a day

Her body, soul and mind become free

In that moment she becomes herself again

And she can face the world again
