I Still Love You

I Still Love You
by Lord R.e. Taylor

It has been nearly a half-century
The first time I saw you
At that moment I was in love
Even now nothing has changed
I still love you

Letting Go

Letting Go
by Lord R.e. Taylor

You know I loved you
Now you are gone
Even though it will hurt
I must now let you go

Farewell To Sunset

Farewell To Sunset
by Lord R.e. Taylor

The two of them sat in those chairs watching the sunset
But time can be as cruel as any monster
She died a slow death in her eighty-third year
His heart ached with unbearable loneliness
He knew that his only love was gone like the light of the sun
And he knew that she would never be with him again

The Song Of Silver Bells

The Song Of Silver Bells
by Lord R.e. Taylor

In song and stories
They have always meant Christmas
But they are universal
The tones silver bells make
Messages from a loving God
Telling us everything will be fine

She Becomes Her

She Becomes Her
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Her life may be what she dreamed
It may be one she never imagined
She may be a mother or wife
She may have a hard life
Above all though she is a woman
And she knows what only she needs
When the world gets to be too much
She knows how to escape
Maybe for just a moment
Maybe for forever and a day
Her body, soul and mind become free
In that moment she becomes herself again
And she can face the world again

I Dream Of You

I Dream Of You
by Lord R.e. Taylor

All I can do is dream of you
I cannot see you
I cannot hold you
I cannot kiss you
I know that I have loved you
And I know that I have lost you
So, all I can do is dream of you
And remember those moments we shared

I Miss You

I Miss You

by Lord R.e. Taylor

It may have been a moment

It may have been forever

Either way, my heart feels empty

Emptier than it ever should

But at least you are in my thoughts

Love You Too Much

Love You Too Much
by Lord R.e. Taylor

I do not think it is possible
I do not believe what they say
There is no way they could be right
I could never love you too much
