So Sad

So Sad

So Sad
She came to the dance every week
No one knew who she was
And no one really cared
She just sat and listened
Her feet tapped to the music
Always keeping perfect rhythm
And she smiles a hundred smiles a night
Hoping that someone would smile back
But no one ever did
She died a short while ago
Alone in a single room without a window
But no one knew who she was
And no one really cared
They never mourned her passing
All they saw was an empty chair which looked lonely
The only thing in the world to know who she was
That wooden chair was the only one to miss her

So sad
