My Flame Is Out

My Flame Is Out
by Lord R.e. Taylor

The candle was lit the day I was born
It’s light never faded
Lasting as long as I have
It has seen me through so much
Every bad time and every good time
But now that candle’s light has died
I do not have the body or soul  any longer
So, just as the last wisps of smoke leaves the candle
I leave my world behind for all of you
I wish you luck with it
