Rainbows

So many colors follow a rain
Beautiful shades of all colors
Children know of rainbows
Their eyes reflect their wonder
They know it is the home of fairies
Pots of gold left by their owners
So many things of a child's dream
Innocently they watch the skies
They beg their mommies and daddies
Asking to climb over that last hill
To take them to the end of the rainbow
It is a place of miracles
A place of imagination adults don't understand
Children have been watching rainbows forever
God made them for children to feel hope
To know that He loves them
To know that a scary storm has ended
Adults should look at rainbows with a child's eyes
Just accept its beauty
Realize that it is the homes of fairies
Take time to look for that pot of gold
Look through their eyes and see what children see
It is no longer a simple rainbow
It is a place of miracles
It is a place where you can find your imagination
It is happiness
