The Business Man

The Business Man

He works 60 plus hours a week
Eating lunch at his desk
Staring at only his computer screen
He even gives up his sleep
His wife never sees him
He loses his children for his job
5 days a week
50 weeks a year
He has no life of his own
On his few days off he leaves
Taking his family away from his job
They play and get to know each other
Still, he takes a moment for himself
To listen to a voice he has ignored
He walks into a temple in a forest
Birds and a waterfall are the only sounds
And he kneels before God
And he thanks Him for his life
And his loves
And everything he is

And somewhere God smiles
