Try Not To Offend

The world has changed
Not for the better
Speech, poetry and art
Is censored without being censored
We are told to be careful
Watch what you say
Watch what you think
One word can make you evil
Full of ignorance and hate
Even if there was nothing meant
Works are hidden or lost
Taken out of public view
People cry and whine without reason
The world needs to change
Make ideas free again
And not punish just because
But, that is never going to happen
So, from now on watch what you say
Don't try to live your life
Just be the same as everyone else
Keep your ideas to yourself
And try not to offend
