You Are Still With Me

I know that you are not here

You walked away So long ago

You cannot imagine how I felt

My heart still beats

I still take my breaths

And my mind still thinks

It has been a lifetime apart

A lot of things have changed

But my heart still beats

You are still deep within it

I do still breathe

But your scent fills every one

And my mind does still think

Every thought and dream is of you

Even with all of that

I swear that I will survive
