A Good Man

A Good Man
By Lord R.e. Taylor

He is a good man
In fact, he always was
Worked all his life
But something bad happened
Now, he has nothing
Sometime giving up his food
Just to get a pair of shoes for his children
One day he saw a single ant
Carrying a crumb of bread
He was not jealous of the insect
Even with his own situation
He was happy the ant had something to eat
But he was happier his kids had shoes
That was just the kind of man he was
