How We Write

It all starts with a dream
Created in the back of your mind
Thought about again and again
So many sleepless nights
As the idea grows and changes
Finally, you put your pen to paper
Writing and writing again and again
Maybe changing little bits and pieces
Maybe rewriting the whole thing
Eventually you finally finish it
Putting the last word in the perfect spot
Then you share it with the world
Just before you find that you misspelled “the”
And you have to start all over again
