So The Rain Fell

So The Rain Fell
By Lord R.e. Taylor

So many years without rain
Daddy prayed every day
Hoping that God would send a miracle
First the crops died in the field
The animals went right after that
Mama went last summer
But she loved us and gave us a gift
A single drop of water to give us hope
The day before God let the rain fall
I am sure that Mama had something to do with it
For some reason God always listened to her
And she always loved us
So, the rain fell, and everything became right
