Created by the gods from flawless marble
Beauty placed upon beauty
Men were unworthy of you
They were only allowed to dream
Not even permitted to speak your name
But you defied the will of the gods
You became a goddess on your own
You showed the world how to love
You showed the world the true meaning of beauty
At last your name could be spoken…
