The Night Holds Such Secrets
By Lord R.e. Taylor
The night holds such secrets
Sounds and shadows
Unlike anything in the real world
Ghostly voices and screams
Never coming from anything
They are all there to hide reality
Creatures with no hope
Hiding in the blackness
Eating from trash cans
And sleeping in doorways
People whom many people despise
Hated just because they are poor
It is wrong to feel that way
But it is far too common
Common enough to ruin the world
But, for a lot, that is their way
Not the way to be human
But the way humans can be
And that is just too damn bad
