Be Your Real Self

Be Your Real Self
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Your mind works so hard
Maybe only being logical
Maybe you are always creative
But you definitely need a break
There is something you can do
Only if you can dare yourself
Take just a single moment
From a single hour in a single day
Shut down your brain and simply live
Scream as loud as you can
Dance and sing the way you want to
Be the person you are not allowed to be
You might just find out who you really are
And maybe, just maybe, you may like them

No Card Is Needed

No Card Is Needed
by Lord R.e. Taylor

No card is needed
It doesn’t matter who you are or what you look like
Where you come from or what god you worship
The books are there for everyone to read
All we ask is please bring them back when you are done
Every word we have here is a gift for all of us to share

Allow Him To Speak

Allow Him To Speak
By Lord R.e. Taylor

Does he have something to say
Should he be allowed to say it
Maybe he should be censored
Stand around without an opinion
He is told not to offend
Not to say anything against the world
But who knows what he could do
What he would do if he could speak
But he has been beaten down for so long
He may have forgotten what he had to say
And that would be a great loss for a hurting world

Nature Reclaims

Nature Reclaims
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Nature allows us to use its land
To build whatever we need
And whatever we want
But even after we get done
Nature does not like it abandoned
It will claw and fight to make its claim
Erasing everything we had done
Returning the land to what it was
Before we destroyed it

Her Magical Bundle

Her Magical Bundle
by Lord R.e. Taylor

She knows how much love you have
How long have you had a single wish
There are so many wishes just like yours
All want a baby of their own
Even with the crying, feeding, and diapers
It would be something to make your life magical
So, today she chose to visit you
The sweetest little bundle resting in her beak
Gently, she lowered it down the chimney
And your family was created to last forever

The Streets Of Atlantis

The Streets Of Atlantis
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Close your eyes
Relax and journey with me
Walk with me through the streets of Atlantis
Lost to us by savage time
Share with me the golden city
Watch the sun through the turquoise
As the people walk peacefully
This city should be a model for others
Full of peace, honor, and beauty
Sadly, what you are seeing is merely a dream
Created by your own imagination
Luckily, you may be able to return
All you have to do is close your eyes
Imagine that you are in paradise
And you will again be walking the streets of Atlantis

Grandpa Robot

Grandpa Robot
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Someone made you years ago
A moment of imagination
But you were such a cute little toy
There were no children around
So you found a place on the shelf
After some time you were forgotten
Many years passed without you
Until the next century started
You were recreated with a consciousness
Still, no one remembered you
The original little toy robot
The grandfather of the next generation
