The Oracle’s Temple
by Lord R.e. Taylor
As you walk the stone path
The wind blows around you
Voices from millenniums past
Too soft to really hear
In a language that is long dead
Could they be warnings
Or could they be blessings
There is really no way to know
You must remember that you are an outsider
Not a worshipper of the ancient religions
Not one who would ever follow their words
So, the oracle’s temple will keep her secrets
And that may just be the best thing
After all, the future is not for us to know
And she knows that better than anyone
