Breslau: Her Home
by Lord R.e. Taylor
More than a hundred years ago
A young girl and her family lived in a city
It had a history that went on forever
The wars had finished covering the streets
Disease was the new curse for the people
But that little girl lived as normally as possible
Even though she left when she was six years old
She had very fond memories of her hometown
Even now, after more than one hundred years
When her town of Breslau is now Wroclaw
I can still look at pictures and see my mom
Running through the Square with her folks
Being someone, I wish I could have known
Laughing and having fun just like a normal kid
All while living in a land so far away
