The Endless Valley
by Lord R.e. Taylor
Walk down the endless valley
No roads or pathways there
Not even the faintest animal trail
Trees so thick that there is no forward or back
No right or left that you can see
The sky will be non-existent
No sunlight could ever get through
Eternal night is your blessing and curse
Someday, you may find the end of the valley
But you know that you cannot celebrate
You still have to find your way back
