Writing Problems

Sometimes you want to write

You know what you want to say

You can feel the perfect emotions

Maybe you can see it in your dreams

But, no matter how hard you try

Those words are just not right

And these words are even worse

Nothing works for you except quitting

But we are stupid writers

We will never quit ever

Those words have to be written

And you have to be the one to write them

So, we get a cup of coffee

Turn the lights down, and we think

We thought and thought before we wrote that first word

And, of course, we misspell it and have to start over
