A Bouquet Of Carcasses

A Bouquet Of Carcasses
by Lord R.e. Taylor

I must truly, really love you
I know how much roses mean to you
They are the best sign of love there is
So, I will empty my wallet
And you will get the carcasses you love
Just remember that they DID die for you

Only One

Only One
by Lord R.e. Taylor

I cannot believe it
How could they be so stupid
It was always going to happen
Everyone knew it just had to
It may have been silly to think so
But there was always hope
Maybe the old men would quit yelling
Threatening each other over nothing
The thing was no one would stop and think
They had no idea what would happen
Or maybe it was they just didn’t care
Either way only one is left to remember
Only one is left to worry about the Human race
Only one left to mourn

A New Insanity

A New Insanity
by Lord R.e. Taylor

So many thoughts at the same time
Terrifying and confusing
They never began and never will stop
A new kind of insanity
One which may never be cured

You

You
by Lord R.e. Taylor

I have known you forever
Our lives became one life
My heart is only yours
Well beyond my last breath
I will always love you

Fantasia

Fantasia
by Lord R.e. Taylor

A vicious war ruled the world
Many movies were just propaganda
Telling the world what to think or feel
One movie never used a single word
Yet its eight stories were told
Everyone knew what was happening
And what the artists intended
True, Fantasia did not grow as intended
Changing its vision every few years
It took nearly sixty years to return
And the power of musical stories remained

Haight-Ashbury

Haight-Ashbury
by Lord R.e. Taylor

They were magical moments
Just knowing where you were
Feeling the history all around you
The voices of Jim, Janis, and Jimi
Still echo through the streets
Coming from shops where they lived
As long as Haight-Ashbury exist
Their footsteps will still be heard
Leading a generation which will never die

Too Much

Too Much
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Way too many people
Too much noise
Everything too close
Sadly, I need room
