Are we normal
What is normal
We can see things in our minds
Colors flowing in the whitest clouds
Grasses dancing in a summer breeze
The story hidden between the words
Hear things no one else can
Music written by birds on a telephone line
The true meanings of “I love you”
The magic in the roar of distant thunder
We can write our dreams
Share our emotions in a few lines
Create worlds beyond our universe
We can anger and excite
We can calm and instigate
Are we normal
No, we could never claim to be normal
We are just us

And that is all we can ever hope to be
at
