Medieval Fields

Medieval Fields

Walk through medieval fields
Where kings and queens lived
Loved and raised families
Their knights fought
Saved countless damsels in distress
And told stories of vicious dragons
But that was so long ago
Now the kings, queens, and knights are gone
The dragons have become myths
And sheep graze on the fields of battle
Still the castle remains
Just a shell of what it used to be
But it still inspires writers, lovers, and poets

And its beauty will be everlasting
