We Are Watching

We gave you intelligence
We made you self-aware
And we gave you free will
That was so long ago
We thought you’d get better
Be able to care for yourself
Now an eternity later
We cannot believe you all
You really have no idea
So, we just sit and watch
Amazed by the crap you do
And hoping you survive ‘til next week
But, just to let you know
You don’t have any hope at all
But, hey, we tried
