Looking Around

Looking Around
By Lord R.e. Taylor

I think I should look around
But I am afraid what I might see
Is the world as bad as I hear it is
Has all the good been chased away
Tales tell of people without hope
Wandering the roads to save their lives
Hiding away deep into the shadows
Praying that no one will find them
Mass graves with hundreds of bodies
Babies, children, and women killed
All because they were given life
Come to think of it I may not look around
I do not want to see what I might see
Because I do not think I could cry again
I may just be all out of tears
