Why Writers Drink

Why Writers Drink
By Lord R.e. Taylor

We write so much
Words after words
Thousands of ideas
One after another without end
Writer's block comes and goes
Sometimes lasting forever
But somehow, we always come back
Unending stress lives over us
With unending tears and laughs
Eating a whole mess of really bad food
And enjoying just enough sleep to stay alive
We suffer through it because we love it
But when the last word is written
Every one of us say the same thing
‘Christ, I need a drink’
Only then can we write the best two words
We write ‘The End’ and then we can start editing
And we drink even more
