People accepted His wisdom

The job you were sent to perform

So, it is totally understandable to do what you did

You cannot be blamed for hiding your head and crying

And someday He may take you back into Heaven

Because you tried harder that anyone should

His children refused to listen to His word

And that was just not your fault

But cancer arrived and took her from him

Mourning he felt his arms reach for her

She was no longer there

His love was still as strong as it ever was

He died the night she left

His only wish to be buried with the woman he loved

Holding her the way he had all their lives
