The Reader

You are such a smart girl
Always knowing, always learning
Every time you see a book
It could be new, or it could be old
Fact, fantasy, or fiction
You will pick it up and read it
Travelling to so many other lands
Meeting so many new people
It is just the way you are
Always turning pages to escape
Maybe you can find the life you lost here
