Colourful Girl

Colourful Girl
By Lord R.e. Taylor

She doesn't want to be normal
To be known as sensible
There is nothing she won't do
No joke, she will not tell
To her, insanity is normal
Normality is insanity
When she dies, she has one request
Find the brightest, gaudiest outfit around
Add some glitter and rhinestones
And bury her face down with her ass in the air
Maybe a small sign with an arrow
Showing people where her ass is
So they can all kiss it for her

The Power Of Diana

The Power Of Diana
By Lord R.e. Taylor

There was a young witch
Meditating alone in the moon’s silver light
Learning the powers of Diana

Clay And Time

Clay And Time
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Ceramics have been around forever
Made to store food or alcohol
Just plain with no decorations
Then that all changed
Stories and pictures were added
Making the ceramic pieces of art
Over the centuries, everything has evolved
Ceramics became something new
Bright colours on brilliant designs
Items made to be simply pieces of beauty
Those old containers are still features
But even they don’t compare to the modern day
Which will not compare to ceramics of the future
We can only wait and see what comes next
I am sure that we will be surprised

An Outdoor Market

An Outdoor Market
by Lord R.e. Taylor

It is like another world
Hundreds, maybe thousands of people
Gathering every weekend
Trying new food or eating their faves
Searching for the treasures they always wanted
Or maybe finding things they never thought of
Many times, buskers provide entertainment
Playing songs that people love and dance to
It may appear to be another world
But honestly, an outdoor market may be the best of ours

Be Ready To Play

Be Ready To Play
by Lord R.e. Taylor

There is a cool breeze from the north
The. unbearable heat is blown away
So many things must end
Their time is long past
But there is no reason to hide indoors
The outdoor world still wants you
And wants you to be comfortable
Maybe you can lose your tee shirts
Get your sweaters out of storage
And don't forget your long pants
Then just go out and enjoy yourself
You aren't going to have a lot of time left
Before the snow comes and keeps you home

The Rivers, Our Future

The Rivers, Our Future
By Lord R.e. Taylor

Watching the rivers
Keeping track of the water
Is it flowing as it should
Are the yearly floods coming
We know what we have to do
It has been done for five thousand years
And it will be done for five thousand more
They knew what worked
So far advanced for their time
We have to learn everything from them
It is the way they thrived
And it is how we may thrive
Unless we think we are smarter
Then we will all most likely die
And we would deserve it

Careful What You Say

Careful What You Say
by Lord R.e. Taylor

We all have a voice
Loud enough to be heard
Our words can sting your ego
Or they can make you laugh
Sometimes it doesn't matter what is said
Maybe not even who was the one who said it
It all depends on when they are told
One day, it can be safe to speak
On other days, you may end up in jail
It all depends on those in charge
So, keep your head down and your mouth shut
At least until tomorrow
Then who knows

October Is Coming

October Is Coming
by Lord R.e. Taylor

October is coming
Maybe sooner than expected
Children are getting their costumes
Parents are getting candy
And Dad is eating half of it
Pumpkin spice will be long gone
Pumpkin pie will be the new thing
For those of you old enough to remember
Maybe Snoopy will find his target
And the Great Pumpkin will rise again
So will the dead and their spirits
Led into the open by a million bats
Making it the perfect night
To have a good night of trick or treat

Things I See

Things I See
by Lord R.e. Taylor

I love the things I see
Most of them are not there
I know that
Maybe but I am not sure
It is probably the booze
Or maybe the joints I smoke
But whatever it is or was
It sure as hell is fun
Please do not let them know
Do not interrupt my friends
They are just chilling
The same as me

Her Wishes Help Others

Her Wishes Help Others
By Lord R.e. Taylor

Her life is based on Wishes
So many that she has lost count
Some made on wishbones
A few made in wishing wells
More on the first star she sees
Yet she is never greedy
Always wishing good for others
Do they know what she had done
No, she does not want them to know
She does not want their thanks
Their smile is all she hopes for
And that is. not too much to ask for

Uncle Beary

Uncle Beary
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Uncle Beary will be back
He went to get a picnic basket
Searching all of Yellowstone
Trying to find someone not watching
He may come back with only one
He may come back with a dozen
Ranger Snyhte may be up his butt
So, he may never get back
But that is fine with me
I have my own picnic baskets
That is, unless he finds them
Then I may miss him
Just a little bit
