Dead Man's Hand

Dead Man’s Hand

Should have never sat down
A backwoods country bar
Filled with redneck men
Beautiful country girls
And a Texas Hold’em game in the back
A few losing hands
Then came the black aces and black eights
The dead man’s hand
A stack of chips in the middle
Everyone went all in
Most lost and someone won
A Smith & Wesson came out
Bullets flew and a man fell dead
They learned that day that there is a time to fold
There is no winning with a dead man’s hand
