Outback Sunset

Outback Sunset

Sitting under an old gum tree
The one down by the creek
Miles away from the road
My truck got me there
Just as if it had a heart of its own
The girl I love at my side
And a Mason Jar full of Aussie moonshine in my hand
Fog rolls in over the meadows
As the sun turns from white to a deep red
I am so happy to be here to experience it
To live to see the truest beauty of Heaven
Paradise couldn’t be any better than an Outback sunset
