are so many things against you
Every
time you are told you can’t
Even
though you know you can
Another
chain is added
Holding
you as a prisoner
Locked
in a cell of your own doubts
And
the fear that maybe they are right

know better but no one ever told you
What
you need to do is look at yourself
Stand
up and be the woman you should be
Shatter
the chains with your strength
Fight
back against the ones who doubt you
Stand
with pride at your accomplishments
And
never again listen to anyone

be you and shine at what you can do
