You Were A Surprise

You Were A Surprise
By Lord R.e. Taylor

You were so cute
A little puppy locked in a cage
Not excited at all
But we did see you smile at us
It was then we fell in love
That was not you though
The hidden power of an atom bomb
It constantly drove us crazy
But it was who you always were
And how could we not love that
