...And She Reads

It doesn’t matter what she reads
She has to escape from her life
Her family and friends
For a short time they do not matter
She sits alone on a peaceful lake
But she never stays in one place
The book takes her anywhere she wants
The rest she does in her own mind
Where characters become real
And the stories are always true
