The Church Of The Diamond

Every chance I had I went to church
Along with several thousand others
We all watched nine ministers
All placed throughout the field
Leading us in prayer asking for one more hit
And maybe, if God was willing, another run
But it didn’t really matter if good or evil won
All that mattered was the ministers
They would be our God-blessed heroes
And they would be there for many services to come
