His Prayer


His Prayer

He never knew when you left
Never knew where you went
All he knew was that his heart was empty
He cried through the night
A prayer flows between his tears
One prayer which fills his soul
Asking for just a few seconds to say good-bye
But, it is a wish which will never be answered
