A Shed On The Beach

A Shed On The Beach
by Lord R.e. Taylor

It would be so great to be on an island
Find yourself a shed on the beach
It doesn’t matter what it looks like
If it is all beat up….so what
It will have a character a new house wouldn’t
Think about waking up right after dawn
Looking out from your bed
Seeing the peace of the palm trees
Hearing the sounds of the waves on the sand
And the calls of a hundred birds from the trees
All because you found a shed only feet from the beach
