The Paradise He Created

I felt His hand on my shoulder
He was giving me a chance I never wanted
Giving me all of His powers
He left me alone to think
Honestly, it did not take me long to decide
I saw what His children had created
I saw what His children ha destroyed
And I knew what I had to do
I never said a word as I waved my hand
In that instant, all human life disappeared
Everything humans had created was turned to dust
And every single animal was allowed to thrive
Yes, I was God for just one day
But I made the Earth what it was meant to be
The paradise He created
