Springtime Bouquet

Springtime Bouquet
By Lord R.e. Taylor

Spread all across the field
They waited in a frozen world
Waiting for the warmth of Spring
The minute the Sun strikes them
Their buds explode with colour
The field becomes a thing of beauty
Life begins again as it had always before
Celebrating until the winds of Autumn come
And the world goes back to sleep
To wait again for the warmth of Spring
