Tattered Pages

You are a true mystery and an enigma
All wrapped within your pages
No one knows when you were written
Or even who took their time to write you
There is no sense of the travels you had
How many people saw you and read you
Did you make a difference in their lives
Or did you terrorize whole communities
We may never know the legend that is you
But even with all your tattered pages
We are just happy that you are still here
And you will be for as long as we care about you
An unknown part of history which begs to be known
