A Scary Sunday Dinner

It was Sunday once again and she knew what that meant
A special family dinner with broccoli, beans and usually fish
Those hated foods which scared her nearly senseless
So she covered her eyes in fear and hope
Maybe her mommy would finally change the menu
And, at last, she could eat with a smile on her face
