I Am From Earth

 I Am From Earth

I am not an American

I am not an Australian

I belong to no nation

I do not honor any borders

I am not a man nor am I a woman

I am no color yet I am every color

Nor would I want to be

I am just one of seven billion

We are all citizens of this lonely planet

Members of a human species

All the same tiny creatures

In the same tiny universe

Too bad we all can’t remember that
