December In Queensland

Always the same
Green trees
Scorching breezes
And the sounds of birds
Waves crash on white sand beaches
While sexy girls tan in the sun
Months of drought
A few hours of rain
And not a snowflake in sight
‘Such is life’ as Ned Kelly said
During December in Queensland
