Sitting In Paradise

Sitting In Paradise
by Lord R.e. Taylor

For far too many Summer days
I would spend hours upon hours
Not doing anything important
Rather I would just sit by the Cuyahoga
There were no swimmers and no boats
Just the gentle sound of the water
Maybe a frog or some birds
But most of all it was just quiet
Could I ever find a better paradise
I really don’t think so
But, then again, I am not looking

Living Fire

Living Fire By Lord R.e. Taylor Watch that fire burning How it appears to be alive Being tortured by the heat As it reaches skyward for help...
