Sitting In Paradise

Sitting In Paradise
by Lord R.e. Taylor

For far too many Summer days
I would spend hours upon hours
Not doing anything important
Rather I would just sit by the Cuyahoga
There were no swimmers and no boats
Just the gentle sound of the water
Maybe a frog or some birds
But most of all it was just quiet
Could I ever find a better paradise
I really don’t think so
But, then again, I am not looking
