Please Take Me Home

I know I am just a child
There is no reason for me to be here
I never barked or bit anyone
I just wanted to kiss you
And maybe play a little bit
Instead, I end up here
Watching people walk by me
Some look at me and smile
Others walk by and I never see them again
Please, if you can, stop and say hello
Maybe take me home with you if I touch your heart
I promise that my heart is already with you
