My Mother-In-Law
by Lord R.e. Taylor
I knew her for the longest time
We met and fell in love
Married and had a few children
Everything was perfect until that day
All hell let loose as soon as she stepped in
The door flew open and she began to yell
The kids were a mess and they were running around
The food just was not good enough
We didn’t make enough money
And yes, even the dog was too small for her
Luckily, she was not in the best of health
So, I went out to buy her a suitable grave
I found just the one to keep her mouth shut
So, when she does die I promise you one thing
My mother-in-law is not going to haunt me
That cage I bought will have her held tight
So, she can scream all she wants
I don’t think the worms will mind
