Spring For Sure
by Lord R.e. Taylor
That dawn grounding lied
Winter went beyond the six weeks
The last snowflake was a couple of weeks ago
But suddenly the planet said enough
It fought back as only it could
One day in May, everything changed
Turning from white to a glorious pink
All over the world, fragile flowers bloomed
And the cherry blossoms took over
People celebrated the fact that winter was gone
And that rodent had to hide away for another year
Maybe then he will get it right and not see snow
Wouldn't that just make us all happy
