The Isolated Garden
By Lord R.e. Taylor
Acres and acres of flowers
Touched but the Sun
Watered by cool Summer rains
And blessed by a traversing Moon
They grow without making a sound
But their petals reach for every cloud
Waving loving greetings as they float by
So many birds know each flower
Friends they share with bees and butterflies
The best thing is that no human knows this place
They have not stomped on the flowers
Nor have they picked them for home decor
And no concrete monsters are seen
This may truly be the last place flowers can live
All we can do is ask the Universe to keep it safe
And hope the answer comes soon enough
