The Evil Castle

The Evil Castle
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Beware the castle on the hill
Darkness is not the only occupant
So much evil wanders those halls
Destroying any innocent looking upon it
Screams fill the cold, bitter air
The dead are never buried
They are never forgotten
They are hung from trees
Being only meals for the crows
Their ghosts wander the stark landscape
Reaching out as if they can be helped
But they sadly know better
In the lands of that castle
The dead can and do die
Keeping an ancient cycle going
And keeping the terror alive
