When the gates opened
She took a step
Something she had never done
Leaving the familiar behind
Her fear built up
Until it was unbearable
Still she decided that she must go

There was no way to turn back
Beyond the gates was darkness
Nothing like she had ever seen
Yet, she walked on
Fueled by curiosity and amazement
Held back by things she imagined
Guided by the light of a single candle
She walked on
Finally, she was greeted with a warm hand
She was led into a place she never expected
Family and friends hugged her
And she felt at home
Even after all the feat
God opened His home to her
And she found the Heaven she was looking for

How young you are

Or how old you may be

If you have two left feet

If you are a prima ballerina

Or if you cannot feel the music

No matter what you are

No matter what you do

Every great once in awhile

Dance even if you are all alone

Just have fun, relax, and dance

After all...

With treasures at every step

There for anyone to see

With heat during the day

Crystal clear nights

Expected and unexpected

Arizona offers so much

Especially when the sun sets

And she shows her true beauty

What rules do we live by

We will never know

They change from day to day

No one will share them

Maybe they do not want us to know

So, although we try to be good

Obey everything they tell us

We always do something wrong

That has become our way of life

Not knowing the rules

And still living by them

At least for today

Tomorrow…who knows?

Sometimes way too hard to survive

But no matter what life sends you

It can never be that bad

So, just think of something good

Or look at something funny

And just let nature take its course

I promise you that if you smile just once

He knows he did not jump in

However, he does not remember falling

He just feels the coolness around him

Helping him to simply relax

Not worrying about himself                                

His soul is at peace as he sinks deeper

Eventually the light turns to darkness

He can no longer see the sun so far away

Sadly, his heart beats one last time

Amphitrite comes and takes him by the hand

Smiling, he knows, for the first time in his life

He feels happy and welcome

It is as if he had returned home

Too bad no one will know

Never letting her heart rule

Finding problems where none exist

Never finding the love she wants

Maybe she does not feel worthy

Almost like she does not deserve it

She laughs during the day

Pretending that she is okay

However, she knows better

So, she just sits in her room

Watching the world go by

Wishing she can find the love she wants

The love her mind will never let her have
