Look at that girl walking down the street
So far out of time
A denim maxi skirt
Long straight hair
Bracelets on both arms
And necklaces covering her chest
She is an angel from a forgotten time
Even after so many years
Her appearance means so much to so many people
Remembering a movement for peace in a time of war
Does she know that she celebrates love?
Don’t tell her what she means
Just let her walk in peace
Let her be who she is
Let her spread the message of peace and love
Even if she doesn’t know she’s doing it
