They Will Survive

Fewer and fewer fires burn
The Outback night is darker than ever
There were those at one time
People who lived on and with the land
But their culture was taken away
As quickly as was their land
But still they fight back
The elders teaching the young
Because of them the Aboriginal continue
Regaining what the once had
And as long as one turndun is played
Australia’s Aboriginal People will always survive
